The First Step Together Association. FiSTA is a non-profit organization for individuals with special needs; it has two branches, one in Mount Lebanon-Beirut, and another in Tripoli- North Lebanon.
The Beirut branch first started in 1974 with a kindergarten and a diagnostic center for special needs.

Parent and teacher training
The aim of parent and teacher training courses is to enrich the life of the school by providing an opportunity for parents and teachers to deepen their understanding of the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner's Education System. These courses provide an opportunity for the adults to come together and share their worries and life experiences in the context of the child's journey.
An extensive program of courses, workshops, and lectures covering child development, the school's curriculum, the arts and personal development, builds a community of learning inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner. Teacher training courses strengthen the ongoing teachers' professional development and help them understand the students and develop awareness of the developmental needs of the children at each age. The teachers learn how to meet those needs with care and understanding. It is an opportunity for teachers to develop and improve their work.
In addition to parents and teachers, FiSTA-Beirut also offers training courses for all who are interested in developing their awareness and understanding of children with special needs.
These courses include:

- Curative Education
- Child Observation
- Art Courses (painting, form drawing…etc)
